Establishment of Meyra Group as a successor of the Medort company founded in 1988 – the manufacturer of orthopaedic equipment. At that time, it was the first private company in this industry in Poland.
Medort opens its first orthopaedic showroom which became the seedbed of the future network
Launch of distribution activity which developed into Medort Dystrybucja i Handel (MDH) company.
Medort starts the production of Dynamic Parapodium which is still one of the Group’s most important export products.
Establishment of the Capital Group which included SSO Medort, MDH and Medort S.A.
The Group starts the production of MEMO footwear and rehabilitation equipment in the Łódź Special Economic Zone.
The Group becomes an investor in the Marmed retail company which later becomes the main entity creating Life+ next to SSO Medort.
The Group’s retail companies merge into one entity, i.e. “Life+”; the establishment of a “Medort Eurazja” distribution company in the Nizhny Novgorod district.
The fourth retail network in Poland, Orthopaedica, merges its outlets with the Life+ network.
Establishment of OOO Medort RU in the Russian Federation which begins distribution operations in the Russian Federation.
The Group buys 100% shares in Rehab Kft, the Hungarian market leader with nearly 100 years of tradition.
A Life + Pro Business Partnership Program is created to establish and manage subsequent medical outlets in healthcare facilities.
The Group transforms Rehab into a joint stock company – Rehab Zrt.
Mtb Poland, a member of the Group, begins the production of active wheelchairs in the newly established factory.
In November, Medort takes over Meyra Ortopedia – the leader of the rehabilitation market in Germany.
The Meyra GmbH subsidiary company takes over the German wheelchair manufacturer, Richter R.M.S.
Medort Group S.A. takes the name of Meyra Group S.A.
